I have a dumb question about healthcare

So I get 30% disability from the VA, a few weeks back I scheduled an appointment to start seeing a VA physician as my primary care doctor. I got scheduled for June 26th. Last night while doing Jiu Jitsu I completely blew out my ankle. My small amount of medical knowledge tells me it’s pretty bad Can I go to an ER? If I have to get imaging done no way I can pay out of pocket
