A post about a brother vet who is having food insecurity was posted on this website yesterday. Any veteran experiencing food insecurity can call their primary care ( PACT ) team and have one of the PACT social workers conduct a food security screen, the social worker at my VA told me when I asked her about it. Additionally, she gave soldiers access to a site where they could locate nearby food banks, soup kitchens, and pantries. I’m hoping that those who need it may find this useful.
