Applying for jobs and questions

So my ETS is September next year. My goal is law enforcement and I was looking at federal jobs like border patrol and USSS UD but the issue is we’re going on a rotation next year around January and I probably won’t be back until June/July….Mabe even August since I have a feeling I’m gonna get fucked over and it leaves me very little time before I ETS. I’m worried even if I start these application processes since I know they take awhile I won’t be able to finish them while overseas…anyone familiar with the process or applying for jobs overseas? Thanks
